THE PROCESS OF CHANGE 2: (The Word of God)

Last time on this article we talked about
1. The living word
2. The written word
3. The spoken word

The living word is the person of Jesus Christ who is living (alive) right now in Heaven. When we get acquainted with Him the blessings recorded in Job 22: 21 – 30 would become ours for a taking. But if we are separated from him we risk being prey in the hands of the devil. To get the best from the living word is to draw close to Him, get acquainted with Him through worship, prayer and of course the word.

THE WRITTEN WORD: The second level of the word of God is the written word. This is the logos. What it does is that it helps us to close up with the living word. Through the instrumentality of the written word a close acquaintance is developed with the living word. Simply put, when you are exposed to the written word, you become the best friend of the living word. How does it operate?
• It gives immediate and eventual direction or you can call it short and long term direction. (Psalm 119: 105)
• It gives liberty from sin (psalm 119: 11)
• It gives mercy and salvation (psalm 119: 41)

THE SPOKEN WORD: It’s time to let your mouth loose. Speak the word in season and out of season. Tell the devil not here! Not my health because it’s written by His stripes I am healed. The place of the spoken word is to release what you’ve gotten from the living word through the written word. When the living word breaths life into the written word concerning your situation, that is the time to turn it into a RHEMA. Speak out baby! Speak your way to destiny. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. The weapons of our warfare are not canal but they are mighty through God. The only weapon that you have which is mighty through God is the spoken word. Words are weapons. Evil men use words, occultists use words. Incantations/divinations are words. If you are the only person not speaking then you are about to become a victim in the battle of life. Let me add a scripture to it:
Romans 8: 12 “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.”
The word is not just nigh thee, it’s even in your heart and mouth. It is not an ordinary word. It’s words, backed with faith. The preaching that you have received over time. That conviction in your spirit that faithful is He that has promised, who will also do it. Yours is just to speak out. You don’t need a loud speaker, you have no need for an amplifier, all you’ve got to do is to shout it at the roof top ‘DEVIL I AM NOT A CANDIDATE OF FAILURE!’ because I am the head and not the tail. He that is from above is above all! I am from above; I am seated with Christ in heavenly places far above principalities and powers. I am above you, more than you, sharper than you, wiser than you; I am a mystery that you cannot demystify. I am a wind, all you can see are my effects but you cannot predict where I am headed or where I am originating from. Devil; I AM TOO MUCH!
One truth about the word of God in your mouth is that just as it is in Jesus’ mouth that is how it is in your mouth. Hear what Jesus said in John 6:63

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Your words also are spirits and life. It can quicken and bring dead things and situations back to life. The power of life and death is in the tongue. Always remember that the words in your mouth are spirits and they do give life. Therefore SPEAK!
Hope you have been blessed by this short thought of mine before I invite you for the part three (3) of the process of change, let me quickly conclude that one of the enemies of the spoken word is living by the flesh. Do not forget, the flesh ‘…profitteth nothing.’ You are guaranteed no profit when you live after the flesh. My submission is this: for your words to carry power live above and beyond the flesh.
Well, that is all for now. Thanks for staying through. If it blessed you please do let me know. Comment on the blog or my facebook, cast a vote below and send me a mail. (pstiyke@gmail.com)
I love you.
Shalom!
